Schedule Your Dog’s Adventure Today!

Welcome to a new era of dog care, where tails wag and pups play in a fun-filled pack environment! We have been lifelong animal lovers, always giving our hearts to every furry friend we meet. We were the go-to pet sitters for friends and family, and now we’ve extended that love and care to your dogs, too.

We have a secure, one-acre fenced-in yard that is every dog’s dream, and our pups are always eager to welcome new friends into their pack. Our home is a stress-free environment for all animals, and we’d be thrilled to meet you and your dogs.

For everyone’s safety, we require a Meet & Greet prior to any daycare or overnight boarding. This allows us to ensure a smooth transition and a joyful retreat for your furry friends, where they can socialize and indulge in their own canine vacation.

We do charge a $25 fee for these Meet & Greets, which typically last up to 60 minutes.

Overnight boarding spots usually fill up approximately two weeks in advance, so plan accordingly when scheduling your Meet & Greet. (We can often accommodate requests for daycare within the same week.)

What’s Included in a Meet & Greet?

We will go over how our business operates, answer any questions you may have, and conduct a brief temperament test where we introduce two of our dogs to yours. Please leave young children and treats at home. Our own pups love both and we try to reduce any distractions. The following topics will be discussed during your Meet & Greet:

Regarding Dee-O-Gee Care

  • The play yard: Why is artificial turf important? Where will my dog play during the day? How will my dog be introduced to the group?

  • Sleeping arrangements: We ask dogs to sleep in a kennel in our lower level, as long as they are quiet, content, and comfortable within one. If they aren’t happy in a kennel, they are more than welcome to crash upstairs on our couch.

  • Feeding: We only feed overnight dogs, so if your pup comes for daycare, please feed them at home. When boarding, we require that you provide your own food so your pup remains on their usual diet. Bring the food in a hard-sided container with a lid (think dog-proof).

  • Cleaning: We take cleaning and health very seriously. We remodeled our home in 2020 to facilitate more effective, efficient cleaning methods.

  • Safety: Dogs have teeth and toenails and that’s what they play with. We screen for dominance, aggression, and fear during Meet & Greets. But even during normal, happy, active playtime, accidents can and have occured. We will go over how any injuries are handled, including our veterinarians of choice.

Regarding Your Dog(s)

  • History and health basics: How old is your dog? Are they fixed (while preferred, this is not required)? Have they been socialized with other dogs and people? Do they have any health or behavioral issues we need to know about?

  • Temperament test: We will introduce your dog(s) to two of our own. One (Lulu) is small and not very interested in playing with new dogs. How does your dog react to this? Do they show signs of dominance due to her smaller stature? Our other dog (Liddy) is larger and enters the room full of energy. Does this intimidate your dog? Do they get riled up easily?
